A man with graying hair and a mustache smiles at the camera.Hello Laureate Park Family,

I am honored to introduce myself as the new principal of Laureate Park Elementary. My name is Jose Perez, and I come to you with 34 years of experience in education as a teacher, instructional coach, and school/district administrator. Family and family values, are on the top of my list of principles. I am honored to receive the opportunity to lead this great school throughout the 2025-2026 school year.

Congratulations Laureate Park scholars and staff! Once again, we are a strong “A”. Thanks to the hard work of each of the members of our Laureate Park Longhorns. Our school mascot is the distinguished Longhorn. This majestic creature is characterized by its strength, resilience, and connection to the herd. Our scholars, staff, and community are strong because of the dedication and work ethic of each of its members. We are resilient because of the commitment that we continually push forward in order to strive for excellence. We carry in our hearts a deep connection to the Laureate Park herd, and we are honored in the achievements that have distinguished our community.

Our theme for this year is “Level up to Learning”. We will continue to focus on student learning and academic growth. We have a distinguished team of educators, support staff, and leaders that give their best to ensure that our scholars will be receiving the best education we can offer. We also have extra curricular activities and several clubs where are longhorn scholars continue to develop their potential. Furthermore, our Extended Day after school program is available to parents and scholars after school hours. You may contact our offices for additional details.
